Plantae 2026: Award

I’m incredibly honoured to have received the Exhibiting Excellence Award for Inspiring Use of Colour at Plantae 2026 for my painting, Rubus ulmifolius.

Colour has always been such an important part of my work. I love exploring how it can capture mood, movement and the changing seasons, and with this piece I wanted to capture the unique beauty of ageing foliage and the rich colours that often go unnoticed in nature.

I’m so grateful to the Society of Botanical Artists for this recognition, and it means a great deal to have my work acknowledged in this way. Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me throughout my botanical art journey. It truly means so much.
